PiiGAB's Citect M-Bus driver has been delivered in large quantities to countries around the world for more than ten years. During the development of the Citect driver, we also developed our special dynamic M-Bus algorithm, which has been enhanced over the years and made even more efficient. The same algorithm is also found in the PiiGAB M-Bus OPC Server and in our Linux-based converter, the PiiGAB M-Bus 900S. The driver can run in Citect SCADA, Vijeo Citect and Desigo Insight.

When Plant SCADA Server 2023 was launched by AVEVA, a new licensing system was introduced. This affects Citect drivers, which has led to problems arising with existing licenses. We have therefore now updated our driver to resolve this issue.

Licenses in Plant SCADA Server 2023 are based on the system ID or computer ID instead of the previous DongleID.

Management of larger projects in terms of commissioning and performance. For example, we have introduced several new parameters that allow separate timeout periods to be configured for each port, different timeout periods for startup and normal operation, etc. There is also a new parameter that allows the startup query to be disabled during commissioning. In addition, there is a separate log file alongside syslog.dat, where you can choose whether to log a specific meter, etc. The latest version also supports FLEXERA software license keys. The driver is available in the following license sizes: 20, 250, 1,000 or an unlimited number of meters/IODevices.
