Start by checking server details, file format, and transfer method. The difference between SFTP and FTP is that you need a key from the provider for SFTP.
1. Verify that QuickPost uses the correct server address, port, file format, and target directory.
2. For SFTP, the server's fingerprint or host key must be verified before the transfer works. Go to the security tab and enter the fingerprint from the SFTP server provider.
3. Run a manual export and check the List file, Result files, and QuickPost log.
4. If the export still fails, check DNS, internet access, firewall, and any proxy.
5. Good to keep in mind: Always verify the receiving server, file format, scheduling, and log results after a test run before putting the export into production. Also, feel free to verify the List Files and log after a test run to see if the file was created, moved, and actually sent without error codes.
