PiiGAB 820 is a powerful and flexible meter collection unit for M-Bus systems with many applications. As an EXTENDER, it drives up to 250 loads, and together with the PiiGAB 900 Gateway, the system can be scaled up virtually unlimited. As a CONVERTER, it seamlessly converts between M-Bus serial and M-Bus IP. If there is a need to boost the M-Bus loop, the PiiGAB 820 is used as a REPEATER.

Radon sensor LAN-WMBUS-Q-R

The radon sensor is a high-performance radon sensor that measures the decay of radon particles. The radon value is updated as often as every ten minutes, and with such a high frequency, it is well suited for use in HVAC systems.

Taking the step from manual meter reading to automatic remote reading can involve various challenges. This was also the case for the VA unit of Ystad municipality.

"We had some places where communication problems occurred in getting signals and data to the collection unit. We solved this by boosting the signal using antenna-equipped repeaters," says Tony Gunnemar, a development engineer at the VA unit.

What they wanted to record was CO2, temperature, and humidity in more than 250 rooms.Eviny is one of Norway’s largest energy producers, manufacturing and distributing electricity to over 180,000 customers. Eviny has a strong environmental commitment and says itself that “society needs more green energy and good innovative solutions that make life easier and better for people.”
